[UAE] Burj Al Arab

Constantly voted as the most luxurious hotel in the world, Burj Al Arab is indeed an icon in the hotel industry of the United Arab Emirates. It is definitely an archetype for the impeccable accommodation offered by the many hotels in Dubai

Burj Al Arab directly translates to "Tower of the Arabs." It is a five-star deluxe hotel that is situated in a reclaimed island fronting the Jumeirah Beach. It is connected to the shore by a private bridge.

The hotel measures a total height of 321 meters, making it the fourth tallest hotel building in the world. It flaunts a sail-like building which resembles the sail of a dhow, an Arabian vessel. It was designed by Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC to be an icon of the city. Every detail are well thought of and engineered complexly to perfection.

But despite its height, it is just home to 22 double floors that features 202 bedroom suites. Putting the word 'luxurious' in an understatement, each of the suites feature two floors connected by beautiful staircases. The design are obviously Arabic, with a touch of modernism; and the appointments are definitely so stunning. Spaces are undeniably spacious as some rooms could even have three living areas and three bedrooms.

Matching the unspeakable opulence of the suites in Burj Al Arab are top restaurants and bars that offer Arabic, international, Mediterranean and Asian dishes served in remarkable dining venues that would amplify the experience.

Other in-hotel facilities include signature spa and health club, state-of-the-art gymnasium, outdoor pool, private beach, Sinbad's Kids' Club, and arrangement for water sports and activities. Meeting venues and banquet halls are provided, assuring infinitely luxurious events supported with high-technology audio/video facilities. Guests are also given unlimited access to the nearby Wild Wadi Waterpark.

Indeed, 'luxurious' is an understatement when referring to Burj Al Arab. Booking rooms could be very costly - costing from $11,000 to $45,000 per night - but it surely is worth it. Anyway, promotions on rates may be availed online.
